Camarillo's Marine Layer to Midday Heat Air Conditioning Team
Silverbrook Heating & Cooling repairs, installs, and maintains air conditioning and heating systems across Camarillo — where coastal morning fog can burn off into real afternoon heat within the same day, putting a different kind of strain on a system than a steady climate does.
About Us
Silverbrook Heating & Cooling is based at 4235 Mar Vista Dr in Camarillo, where marine layer fog often rolls in overnight and burns off by midday into real valley heat — a daily swing that's different from either a steady coastal climate or a steady inland one.
Owner Ellis Merritt built the business around that pattern: a system has to handle cool, damp mornings and hot, dry afternoons in the same day, and that changes what proper sizing and maintenance look like.
What We Do
Repairs and installs that account for Camarillo's daily fog-to-heat swing, not a single steady climate assumption.
AC repair covering capacitors, contactors, refrigerant leaks, and blower motors, with attention to condensation and moisture issues tied to morning marine layer.
Central air and ductless mini-split installation sized for Camarillo's daily swing between marine layer mornings and hot afternoons.
Furnace and heat pump repair and installation, including igniter, flame sensor, and heat exchanger inspections.
Seasonal tune-ups that include a check for moisture-related wear from morning marine layer.
In-depth troubleshooting for systems that struggle to keep up through the afternoon heat.
Filtration and dehumidification options for cleaner indoor air.
